SMPS Seattle is accepting applications now through Feb 9, 2026 for the 2026 Carla Thompson Fellows Amplify A|E|C Scholarship to attend the SMPS Amplify AEC, previously known as Build Business.

Attending the SMPS Amplify AEC national conference contributed to the long-term success of our Chapter’s six Fellows: Karleen Belmont, Victoria Cooper, Kenda Salisbury, Ted Sive, Bill Strong, and Carla Thompson. Eager to share that experience, they worked with Seattle Chapter leaders to create this scholarship, so that other SMPS Seattle members have access to the same opportunity. This generous scholarship of up to $3,000 covers registration with the remaining applied toward travel expenses. (This excludes any meals.)

  SMPS Seattle members are eligible.

  • Member must have attended a total of at least two (2) Fellows Forums, or what are now known as Catalyst Conversations.
  • Previous winners are ineligible for five (5) years, then may apply again.
  • Blind evaluation process.
